Ultimate Connection Contest Entry Closed

Yahoo’s Ultimate Connection Contest is now closed to entries. The deadline to submit essays passed at 11:59 Pacific Time, last night, May 30. The essays are being read and the five finalists will be announced in June. Voting is set to begin June 14.

    Candy, play houses and Fairy’s??? When I read the results, I couldn’t believe my eyes. Do I need new glasses? Surely Yahoo had entries whos products or services carried a little more weight than this! While I don’t wish to knock any of the finalists personally, I am very disappointed in the voting results. In closing I would say that while the ability to e-mail faster than I already do has little value to me personally, at least that product has SOMETHING to do with the business world. Guess I’ll head back to Google now!
