Why not more posts about helping us improve our earnings? We have heard from others already about their success stories (which really does us non good unless they give advice within the column like how Shoemoney did).

Give us more on ad placement, categories and other strategies. Let us hear more on how to improve our earnings, not just the features YPN puts out.

Concerning announcements: What about something like a rollout-plan for other countries then US?

I’d love a discussion of whether Yahoo plans to bring YPN to Yahoo360. It’s impossible to use there now because YPN uses a Javascript widget. I assume the main issue is as with all social networks– the possibility of advertising being tied to inappropriate content. But it would be good to discuss ways to police that kind of problem.

    My $0.02 -

I’m not ‘yet’ a part of YPN. I’d love to see post on YPN being integrated with Yahoo Small Business services. Moreover, how about a post on integrating YPN with Yahoo Messenger to give real time stats.
It would be great if you setup a system where the regular YPN blog visitors can interact with the YPN team. It could be a chat by invite only. This way, we can interact closely to improve YPN & also benefit the publishers.
And of course, more posts on tips, tricks & success stories are welcome!

As the YPN is still in beta, i’d like to see in the blog more information about what’s boiling.
I submitted a couple of ideas about something that should be improved in the YPN, but all I got back was a pre-packaged reply telling me my suggestions was being sent to the techies…
Maybe I’m old-fashioned webmaster, but instead of focusing on my earnings with YPN, I’m pretty much trying to figure out what can be improved, and I’d like to hear back from the YPN team about it.
For example, ad targeting on static html pages is an easy job.
doing the same with dynamic content is another story.
I can be wrong, but I belive that instead of a blog, 99% of YPN tester would love to have a forum.

How about the ability to report people who are wroughting the system? That’s long overdue.

myspacetotal.com colours the ad url a nice light grey and puts images next to them. The result - crap quality traffic for your advertisers.

thelayoutsite.com colours the ad url very-nearly-white, because they’d hate for people to know they’re ads.

Of course, that goes against what was previously published about visitors having to be able to identify ads as ads.

I am quite pleased to say it appears some of the accounts I’ve tried so hard to report have been canned, despite you having no formal mechanism for reporting abuse, or even an informal mechanism, or even a pretense at any care factor.

How about some sort of notification of when new users might be getting accepted into the system? Just a thought.
