Any idea on the time frame of monetizing the Yahoo search box? I'm really looking forward to this aspect of YPN and think that it will raise my sites income levels quite a bit. I did really well with the A*sense version, and this was the only drawback I saw when switching my sites over to YPN.

Also, is there any chance that YPN is developing an inline contextual version similar to Kontera? It would be awesome to have that option as well.

Thanks,
C. Crawford

Nice job guys. I put it in my site and it works well - makes it look more professional. The web site search results are much better than my own CMS's search results. Its even better and more relevant than Google's. I'm more than happy to have Yahoo! as a brand on my site and was waiting a long time for this. Thank you!

Sorry, Gary, but for some reason the link was not live when we posted. It's fixed now. As for your second question, you'll see at the bottom of the post that we say the at present the search box is not monetized but that we are working on it.

Thanks!

OK, first, you don't say where we can get the code for the search box. Second, will we get paid to use it like adsense search? And thirdly, artist123, they will send you a response ASAP. They get tons of requests and they must look over every single request to make sure it's the type of site they want. And size of the site, amount of visitors, type of visitors, etc. is what they look at including what type of site it is.

Took me about 2 weeks, but this was way back when it just started (last september), so I was ahead of the game. I have heard stories of people waiting 3 months for a response.

How do I get to post the Publisher Network ads on our site? I've signed up for the beta program but never have received a response. I realize Yahoo is just getting started with much of this, but I sure would like to get the ads placed so I can round out the site. I'm going with the Yahoo brand all the way. Thank you for a response.
